Clay County Advance (Ashland, AL) Fri Apr 20, 1894

Mrs. W. P. Arnett died at her home one mile North
of Lineville on last Saturday evening. She was
the wife of one of Clay's  most popular and
prosperous citizens and leaves a host of friends
to mourn her departure. She was a Christian woman,
an affectionate wife, a kind mother and friend
to all.
  Some one of her friends will furnish us with her
obituary for publication soon, which will give our
readers a history of her Christian virtues and
charitable acts. The bereaved husband and
sorrowing children have our most profound sympathy.
