The Oxford Enterprise
William Bachus, a sawmill man of Clay County, was killed Monday while running his 
mill. He was passing by the drive wheel and his overcoat caught in the wheel. He 
was carried around the wheel several times and every limb in his body was 
broken."

He is buried Bethel-Delta Clay County.
