Funeral services for William A. Baker, 73, who died Friday at Clay County 
Hospital after a long illness, were held Sunday, at Mt Moriah Baptist Church with 
the Rev. Gordon Taylor and James Duke officiating. Burial was in the adjacent 
cemetery with Blair Funeral Home in charge. He was survived by the widow, Mrs. 
Queenie Baker; three daughters, Mrs. Essie Triplett, Mrs. Lessie Edmondson and 
Mrs. Eula Mae Heath, all of Lineville; five sons, Elmer of Lineville, Hubert of 
Mobile, Junior of Oxford, Robert and Henry of New Orleans LA, one sister Mrs. 
Lizzie Burroughs, one brother, Jack Baker, both of Delta, 35 grandchildren and 
five great-grand-children:
