Ashland Progress
This community was saddened Monday by the death of little Gary Baker, son of Mr. 
and Mrs. W. A. Baker. Gary was accidently shot early Monday morning when a loaded 
shot gun was discharged in the home. He was carried to hospital in Talladega, 
where he died. He is survived by his parents, three sisters and six brothers. 
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, at Mt. Moriah Church, 
with burial in the Church Cemetery, Sincerest sympathy is extended to the 
bereaved ones.
