Mrs. Birdie Mae Barnett 78 of Hollins died Thursday in a Sylacauga nursing home.  
Funeral will be at 2 pm Friday at Service Funeral Home Chapel in Sylacauga with 
burial in Hollins Cemetery. A native of Elmore County Mrs. Barnett has lived 
since 1927 in Hollins. She was a member of the Hollins Baptist Church. Survivors 
include four daughters Mrs. Winona Shaddox of Birmingham, Mrs. Ellice Stuart of 
Honolulu Hawaii, Mrs. Dorothy House of Hollins and Mrs. David a Waller of Los 
Angeles Cal.
