The Alexander City Outlook
Funeral services were held Thursday morning for Mr. T. R. Barnett of Rt. 2 
Goodwater. Mr. Barnett passed away at his residence Tuesday night. Conducting the 
funeral serv ices was the Rev. Grady Birchfield. Services were held at the Rock 
Springs church with interment following in the adjoining cemetery. Radney's 
Brown-Service Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements. Surviving 
Barnett is the widow, Mrs. Susan L. Deason Barnett of Goodwater; three sons, 
Palmer Barnett of Sylacauga and Cecil Barnett and Luther Barnett, both of 
Goodwater; three daughters, Mrs. Nomie Hawkins and Mrs. Ruth Summer, both of 
Goodwater and Mrs. Vera Bailey of Sylacauga and a sister, Mrs. Minervia Hickey of 
Orlando, Fla.
