The Atlanta Constitution
Mrs. Donia Bassett, of 734 Law N. widow of William Bassett, died Monday at her 
home Funeral services will be held at 1ft a. m. today at the residence with the 
Rev. R. S. Manning officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Churchyard in 
Cragford, Alabama. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. W. W. Lashley, of 
Atlanta, Mrs. J.D. Daniel, of Birmingham, Mrs. C. S. Robertson, of Opelika and 
Mrs. Lynwood Golden of Talladega. two sisters Mrs. J. M. Denson. of Altoona, and 
Mrs. J.L. Ford, of Opelika, two brothers, Glover McCain of Cedartown, and Ed 
McCain of Anniston, Ala.
