Brother Bean was a kind neighbor, a tender, loving father and a faithful devoted companion. He was a bright jolly spirited man. To know him was to love him. Brother Bean was happily converted in early life, of which he ever loved to talk. He loved his church dearly and was very I attentive to all his church meetings. About three years ago Brother Bean's health began to fail, he gradually went down until Xmas last. By this time his recovery became hopeless, and he became perfectly resigned to death. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. F. J. Ingram and the writer. His remains were laid to rest in the Pleasant Grove cemetery March 23rd to await the resurrection of the righteous.
