Anniston Star
Services for Mrs. Gussie Sasnett Bell, 74, of Delta, Rt. 1, will be Saturday at 
11 a.m. at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Archie Parker and the Rev. Pete 
Haynes officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Brock Funeral 
Home of Clay County in charge. The body will be at the church an hour before 
services. Mrs. Bell died Wednesday at her residence. Survivors include five 
daughters, Mrs. Emma J. Coger of Weaver, Mrs. Mary E. Lindsey of Lineville, and 
Mrs. Clara N. Wade, Mrs. Geraldine Forbus and Mrs. Landa Morrow, all of Delta; 
two sons, Ralph Bell of Air Force, Guam, and Johnny Bell of U.S. Air Force, Fort 
Walton, nine stepchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Louella Brown of Weaver and Mrs. 
Lydia Hurst of Lineville; a brother, Charlie Sasnett of Anniston; 24 
grandchildren.
