Alexander City Outlook
Services for W. S. A. Bence, age 88, of Cragford, were held Saturday morning from 
Bethel Church (Clay County). The Rev. Grady Birchfield officiated. Burial took 
place in the cemetery adjoining the church. Mr. Bence died at his home on 
Thursday. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Carrie Lee Harry, Mrs. Era Pursell 
Mrs. Cumie Carter and Mrs. Odellia Cotney; five sons, L. P., A. J., O. S., V. F. 
and H. S. Bence, and a number of other relatives.
