Bennett, 69. who died at her residence. Delta, Rt. 2, Tuesday night were held this afternoon at 2 p. m. at the Providence Methodist Church, with the Rev. P. Bean officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Colonial Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Bennett is survived by her husband. J. M. Bennett of Delta; three sons, Ulis and John Bennett, both of Anniston, and Willie Bennett of Delta; two daughters, Mrs. Linnie Knighton of Fayetteville, N. Y., and Mrs. Easter Prestridge of Alexander City; one brother, Alvin Sims of Lineville; six sisters, Mrs. Elender Gamble of Choccolocco, Miss Fanny Sims and Mrs. Lovie Harris, both of Lineville. Miss Elizabeth Sims of Dadeville. Mrs. Ada Clifton of Hamilton, and Mrs. Lillia Barnes of New Kirk, Okla.; eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Pallbearers were: Ernest, Newt, and Roy Wakefield. Luna Cole, George Hendrix. and Junior Mullaly.
