Anniston Star
Funeral services were conducted for Jack Blanks 74, at Bethany Baptist Church la 
the Mountain Community Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The Rev. Reuben Birchfield 
officiated with Blair Funeral Home, Lineville, in charge. Mr. Blanks was residing 
with his sister Mrs. Richard Wood, at the time of his death. He died at Clay 
County hospital early Sunday morning. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. 
Blanks has resided in Clay County all his life and has farmed until a few years 
ago. He is survived his sister Mrs. Richard Wood. Route 1. Cragford and a brother 
John Blanks.
