Roy M. Boak, 71, died unexpectedly Saturday morning at his home here. Mr. Boak, 
city clerk for many years, was a member of the Lineville Methodist Church and a 
veteran of World War I. Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. from the 
Lineville Methodist Church, with the Rev. James E. Elliott conducting the rites. 
Burial will be in the Lineville Cemetery. Survivors include his wife; four 
sisters, Mrs. C. T. Stewart and Mrs. Benea Shepard, both of Lineville, Mrs. W. A. 
Perry of Wedowee, and Mrs. Carl Arnold, of Cullman, and a brother, Clif ford Boak 
of Lineville.
