He was a member of Mt. Gilead Methodist church, at which place the funeral services were held Sunday morning, conducted by Revs. E. L. Brasher and Press Moncus. At the conclusion of the service the remains were laid to rest in the church cemetery beside the wife who preceded him in death 12 years. Blair was in charge. The deceased was 79 years of age and had lived in this community for more than 40 years. He is survived by six sisters and four brothers. Only one brother, Reda Boak, from Lineville was able to attend the funeral. Pallbearers were Waters Stone, Clifford Boak, Crayton Kenady, Lester Kenady, Clyde Stewart and Leon Wilkerson.
