Anniston Star
Services for J.V. Boggs, 75, of Lineville, were Saturday at 2 p.m. at First 
United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Morris and the Rev. Walter Cash 
officiating. Burial was in Lineville City Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of 
Lineville in charge. Mr. Boggs died Thursday at Regional Medical Center. 
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Wellovee Harris of Loganville, Ga.; a son, 
Randall Boggs of Alpine; a brother, Harvey Boggs of Alexandria City; seven 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Willoughby Gaither, 
Roger Harris, Tim Harris, Marc Harris, Rory Box and Tracy Box. Mr. Boggs was a 
Clay County native and a former resident of Talladega. He was a car salesman and 
a member of First United Methodist Church.
