 Services for Mrs. Lucille O. Boggs, 69, of Lineville, Rt. 2, were today at 
First United Methodist Church in Lineville with the Rev. Don Cross and the Rev. 
Ernest Smotherman officiating. Burial was in Lineville City Cemetery with 
Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge.  Mrs. Boggs died Saturday in 
Alpine. Survivors include her husband, J.V. Boggs of Lineville, Rt. 2; a 
stepdaughter, Mrs. Wellovee Harris of Atlanta; a stepson, Randall Boggs of 
Alpine a sister, Mrs. Bobby Owens of Talladega; a grandson, seven step-
grandchildren and a step great-grandchild. Mrs. Boggs was a native and lifelong 
resident of Clay County. She was a retired employee of the Higgins Company after 
21 years service. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lineville 
and the United Methodist Woman Circle of Lineville.
