Ashland Progress
Final rites for Mrs. J. W. Bolt, 80, were held at Corinth Baptist Church at 2 
o'clock p.m. on October 17, with Rev. Hollis Horn and Rev. H. T. Tapley 
officiating. Interment was in nearby cemetery, directed by Blair Funeral Home. 
Pallbearers were grandsons Garfield Harris, Burl McLain, Gene Hodnett, Everett 
Cotney, Max Tidwell, Bill McLain. The deceased passed away at her residence on 
the morning of October 16th. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church. 
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. B. M. McLain, Whitesburg, one 
foster-son, Elmon Bolt, Cragford; one brother, Mr. Jimmy Caldwell, Wedowee; 13 
grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
