Lineville Headlight
Wash Boyd, colored, was shot by Denson Estes, colored, in the latter's pressing 
club last Saturday night and the former died of the wound in received Monday 
morning. A pistol was fired by Estes and the ball entered the stomach of Boyd and 
perforated his intestines in five or six places. Wash Boyd had been in prior 
difficulties which came near costing him his life. In one of these prior 
difficulties his throat was cut and in another he was shot.  Estes was arrested 
immediately after the shooting.
