Services for Mrs. Vargie Bradford, 93, of Lineville, Rt. 1, will be Monday at 11 
a.m. at Shady Grove Christian Church with the Rev. Gordon Taylor officiating. 
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of 
Lineville in charge. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. today until an 
hour before services. The body will be at the church an hour before service. 
Mrs. Bradford died Saturday at Montclair Baptist Medical Center. Survivors 
include a son, Vodie Bradford of Lineville, and a grand-daughter, grandson and 
great-granddaughter. Pallbearers will be W.C. Ford Jr., Kermit Ford, Dorsey 
Eidson, Velt Dollar, Artis Griffin and Braxton Cockrell. Mrs. Bradford was a 
Randolph County native and had lived most of her live in Clay County. She was a 
homemaker and member of Shady Grove Christian Church. She was preceded in death 
by her husband, Harvey Bradford.
