She was a gift from during her short stay of only three summers she blessed the home and lives of her parents and gladdened the hearts of those she came in touch with. She was sick only one week. Then she was called home by Him who gave her. While no more the pattering of her little chubby feet or prattling of her childish voice are heard, her sweet memory will serve as a guiding star to the parents. Truly up yonder you have a treasure. The parents with broken and bleeding hearts bow in humble submission to the will of their Lord. In the presence of a large congregation of sympathizing and sorrowing relatives and friends, the funeral services were conducted by the writer, assisted by Rev. T. J. Preston. Then her remains were laid to rest in the Shiloh cemetery October 31st. B. W. Matthews.
