Final rites held for Delta farmer Wilburn C. Brooks, 72-year-old Delta farmer, 
was laid at rest in Shiloh Cemetery today, with Jones directing. Mr. Brooks died 
at his home Monday after an illness of only four days. Services were held at the 
Shiloh Church with the Rev. W. B. Ingram officiating. Surviving are the wife, 
four sons, Otis of Oxford, Nolan of Wylie Tex., J. C., of Delta and Shelley of 
Gorsdo, and three daughters, Mrs. G. L. Gann of Delta, Mr. J.R. Johnson of 
Birmingham and Mrs. Inez Burkhalter of Ashland.
