Mrs. Lillian Estella Brooks, 73, of Alexander City died Monday at Russell 
Hospital after a short illness. Services were today at 3 p.m. at Shiloh Primitive 
Baptist Church in Delta with Elder W. B. Denny and the Rev. John Mark Wilson 
officiating. Radney Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include 
two sons, Clyde Brooks and Earl Brooks, both of Alexander City; a daughter, Ruth 
Nelson of Marietta, her mother, Prudie Daugherty of Lineville; five brothers, 
Jake Daugherty, Cleman Alden Daugherty, of Wyatt Daugherty of Delta and Melvin 
Daugherty of: four sisters, Ila Mae Spears, Erzula Spears, both of Delta, Moree 
Summerlin and Addie Woods, both of Lineville; six grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren.
