Ashland Progress
Mrs. Alice Brooks, 76, died at her home near Delta March 18. Funeral services 
were held Tuesday morning at 10:30 at Mt. Moriah. The services were conducted by 
Rev. C. C. Shaddix, Anniston; Rev. Dee Hurst, Rev. B. W. Mathews, Rev. Robert 
Ingram and Rev. E. F. Daniel Roanoke. Blair directed. Pallbearers were: Arnold 
Brooks, Buddy Darby, Junior Brooks, Clyde Brooks, Theron Gay Virgil Brooks. 
Survivors include five sons, two daughters, forty grandchildren and Breai 
grandchildren.
