Alexander City Outlook
Funeral services for Herbert Brooks was held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock' from 
the Motley Baptist Church with Rev. Tapley and Rev. Hunt, officiating. Besides 
the father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. V. D. Brooks, the deceased is survived by 
three brothers, V. D. Wadley, Route 2, J.W. of Wadley, Route 2, Marion, Wadley, 
Route 2, and five sisters: Mrs. Rena Montgomery, Alexander City, Route 2, Miss 
Floy Brooks, Wadley, Route 2, Miss Edna Brooks, Wadley, Route 2, Miss Mary Ann 
Brooks, Wadley, Route 2 and Miss Nancy Brooks, of Talladega. Interment in Motley 
cemetery with McGhee Funeral Home in charge.
