Brown, 82, of Wellington, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Mannings Chapel with the Rev. John Rice, the Rev. Horace Haywood and the Rev. Floyd Sparks officiating and Gray Brown-Service in charge, burial with will in the church cemetery. The body will be at the home until one hour before Mr. Brown died Sunday at Jacksonville Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Zera F. Brown of Wellington; three daughters, Miss Linnie Brown of Wellington, Mrs. Jane Paulk of Gadsden and Mrs. Cleoria Roberts of Rochester, N.Y., J.B. Brown of Wellington; a sister, Margaret Watts of Alexandria; two brothers, J.R. Brown of Lineville and Earl Brown of Oxford; six half-sisters, Lillie Whitley of Anniston, Inez Wesson and Joan Dabbs, both of Talladega, and Doris Pettus, Mary Brown and Shirley Brown, all of Jacksonville; a half-brother, Norris Brown of Lineville; six grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tommy Roberts, Billy Roberts, Windell Roberts, David Brown, Scott Darnell and James Watts. Mr. Brown was a native of Clay County and a resident of Calhoun County for the past 30 years. He was a retired farmer and a member of Abel Baptist Church.
