"Jack" Brown, 53, of Lineville will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Mineral Springs Methodist Church with the Rev. Hobart Murphree and the Rev. James Duke officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Blair- Brock Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Brown died Saturday in a local hospital after a long illness. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marie Patterson Brown; his mother, Mrs. Mary Lou Brown of Lineville; three sons, Ray B. Brown, Edgar M. Brown and Stanley Scott Brown, all of Lineville; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Luker of Sylacauga; five brothers, William J. Brown of Lineville, Thomas Cecil Brown of Clearwater, Fla., Bennett Brown of Wallingford, Conn., J.D. Brown and Leander Brown, both of Anniston; and four grandchildren. Mr. Brown was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County and a member of Mineral Springs Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War II and retired from Anniston Army Depot. Pallbearers will be Bill Brown, Michael Brown, Johnny Brown, Eddie Brown, Roger Brown and Charles Brown. The body will remain at the funeral home until one hour prior to services.
