Ashland Progress
Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Mae Brown of Lineville Rt. 3, were held at 
Concord Baptist Church, May 11th at 2 o'clock p.m., conducted by Revs. Dee Hurst 
and Irvin Strickland. Interment in adjacent cemetery with Blair Funeral Directors 
in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were J. Brown, Junior Brown, Britt 
Peoples, Ed Headrick, Jimmy Thomas and James Pate. Mrs. Brown passed away at her 
home on May 9th at the age of 63. She was a native of Calhoun County. Survivors 
include her husband, T. H. Brown; three sons, James C. B'ham; Eustace Anniston; 
Frank Baton Rouge, La. Three sisters, her father, J. E. Pate, Delta and a number 
of other relatives.
