The Alexander City Outlook
Funeral services for Mrs. W. J. Browning (Sarah Frances), 86, of Pt 1, Ashland, 
were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Guthrie's Chapel with burial in an adjoining 
cemetery, Radney Funeral Home, Alexander City. directing. Mrs. Browning died at 
Clay County Hospital Saturday, Aug. 8, after a short illness. Surviving are the 
widower; seven sons, A.V., Jim, Allen, Ashland; Sid, Auburn; L. Florida; 
McKinley, New York; Robert, New Site; four daughters, Mrs. John Browning, Mrs. 
W.R. Hanson, both of Alexander City, Mrs. Willie Morgan, Montezuma, La., and Mrs. 
H. O. Hawkins, Florida
