Houston Dean accidentally shot and killed his brother-in-law, John Bryant, while 
out bird hunting last Saturday. Both parties to the unfortunate occurrence lived 
in the Idaho community, where the shooting occurred. They had gone out hunting in 
the morning, and Dean fired at a covey of birds but the load entered the abdomen 
of young which he died Saturday afternoon at four o'clock, after lingering in 
pain for several hours. John Bryant, the deceased, was about 21 years of age, and 
was a popular young man in the Idaho community, where the unfortunate accident is 
greatly deplored.
