Ashland Progress
Mrs. Susie Alameda Bryant, age 70, died at her home near High Pine Saturday 
afternoon, July 30, after a short illness. Funeral services were held Sunday 
afternoon at Pleasant Grove church with Rev. A. P. Steadman officiating and Blair 
directing. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery. Pallbearers were Grady 
Patterson, Bob Patterson, Marshall Bryant, Clyde Caldwell, L. D. Bryant and 
Junior Bryant. Flower girls were Helen Bryant, Lorene Bryant, Mary Will Bryant, 
Rosie Patterson and Betty Patterson. Surviving are a number of children, two 
brothers, Noah and Bill Caldwell, and two sisters, Exter Patterson and Winnie 
Bryant. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
