Our Mountain Home 
In a row which occurred at a Seaboard Air Line camp near Pell City Monday night, 
Jim Williams, colored, shot and killed S. M. Bunn, of Pyriton, Clay County, and a 
man by the name of Wheeler, of Georgia. Sam Bunn, brother of the first named dead 
man, was shot in the hip by the negro who made his escape. No particulars of the 
cause of the killing are at hand. Riley Bunn, another brother, passed through the 
city with the remains of his brother this morning in route to Pyriton. The three 
Bunns had just gone to the camp to go to work.
