Ashland Progress
Mrs. O. O. Bunn died at her home in the Shiloh community on last Sunday, 
following a long illness. Funeral services were held at Olive Branch on Monday 
afternoon at 2 :00 o'clock, conducted by Elder W. B. Denny, assisted by Elder H. 
H. Goodman. Interment was in the Olive Branch cemetery, Blair directing. The 
deceased was 74 years of age and, besides her husband, is survived by two 
daughters, Mrs. Sallie Haynes of Roanoke, and Mrs. Tom Gillum of Ashland, Route 
1. She is also survived by two brothers, J. A. Beck of Ashland, and E. E. Beck of 
Sycamore, and five sisters, Mrs. Nora Treadwell of Clanton, Mrs. Will Barton of 
Sycamore, Mrs. Jess Robertson of Okee, Fla., Mrs. H. L. Haynes of Ashland, Route 
1, and Mrs. John West of Washington, D. C. Six neighbors acted as pallbearers.
