Clay County News, Aug 26, 1881: 
Many years ago, an old man by the name of Burks died at Millerville, in this 
county, He was very eccentric and could not bear the idea of being buried in the 
ground, so he left strict orders that his remains should be deposited on a high 
hill overlooking the village of Millerville. His instructions were carried out, 
the coffin resting on the ground, and a thick stone wall built around, and 
covered over it. The cement has washed from between the two top stones and the 
skull and a few of the harder bones are all that is left of the old man.
