The Orlando Sentinel
Mr. Curtis O'Neal Burks, 49, died Saturday at his home. He had been resident here 
for 20 years. Mr. Burks wag a member of the First Baptist Church where he served 
as deacon, Tavares Masonic Lodge 234, Eastern Star No. 127. He is survived by his 
wife, Mrs. Essie Burks; his mother, Mrs. Dixie Burks a brother, James Burks, 
Langdale, Ala, a sister, Mrs. Ruth Kelly, Fairfax, Ala, and several nieces and 
nephews. Robert S. Goodman Funeral Home is in charge.

He is buried Corinth Clay County, AL.
