Ashland Progress
Our community was made sad last Monday night, Dec. 16, when the death angel 
called Mrs. W.E. Burroughs to the great beyond. She was 47 years old and leaves a 
husband, seven sons and four daughters and a host of friends to mourn her going. 
Funeral services were held Dec. 19 at New Harmony church, Nolen Bros directing. 
Leonous Burroughs, of Detroit, was called here for the sad occasion.
