Burt, 85, of Anniston Route, 4, died yesterday afternoon at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Jessie Young. after a brief illness. Mr. Burt was a retired farmer. A native of Elmore County and had lived at Delta for many years. Funeral services will be conducted at Union Baptist Church in Clay County at 11 a. m. tomorrow by the Rev. G. E. Rollins and the Rev. Irvin Strickland. The family requests no flowers. Burial will be in an adjoining cemetery, Usrey in charge. Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Dovie Patterson, and Mrs. Jessie Young, of Anniston, Route 4; Mrs. Nell Reaves, of Anniston; Mrs. Flora Spurlin, Alexandria; Mrs. Lessie Roberts, Oxford; Mrs. Florence Dowlin and Mrs. Rossie Sprayberry, of Pyriton; four sons Chess Burt, Anniston, Route 1; Foster Burt, of Oxford; Roy Burt, Pyriton. and Lenn Burt, Anniston. Route 4; two sisters, Mrs. Lovie Mastella, Jacksonville and Mrs. Minnie Payne, of Gadsden, and 42 grandchildren.
