Early in life she united with Hatchett Creek Presbyterian church. On July 30, 1899.she was married to Mr. Geo. Caldwell, of Goodwater, Ala. She died there October 5, 1899. We hated to give her up, because she was an affectionate daughter and sister, devoted wife, a dear friend, a faithful church member and a bright Christian. She was beautiful in features, from and character, powerful in mind, skillful in good works patient in suffering, fearless of death. "Perfect love casteth out fear" Her death was a bitter disappointment, but God doeth all things well. We submit to his will and strive to prepare to meet this loved one and all the redeemed of Jesus on Canaan's shore.
