Mrs. Etta Viola Caldwell, 87, of Ashland, died Wednesday at a Clay County nursing 
home after a long illness. Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Blair Brown-
Service1 Funeral Home with the Rev. A. 0. Burdette officiating. Burial will be in 
Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Ashland. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Oma Delle 
Phurrough and Mrs. Exie Belle Huddleston, both of Sylacauga; two sons, C. H. 
Caldwell and Herbert U. Caldwell, both of Ashland; a sister, B. Roberts of 
Lineville; 13 grandchildren and 17 greatgrandchildren.
