Anniston Star
John David Caldwell, 81, of Lineville, Rt. 3, died Wednesday at the Clay County 
Nursing Home. Funeral services were today at 2:30 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church 
with the Rev. John A. Joiner and the Rev. A. A. Jacobs officiating. Burial was in 
the church cemetery with Blair Funeral Home in charge. Survivors include his 
wife, Mrs. Ethel Caldwell of Lineville; five daughters, Mrs. Victory Lett of 
Lineville, Mrs. Mavis Allen of Eastaboga, Mrs. Ruth Hornsby of Ashland, Mrs. 
Caffree Heath of Talladega and Mrs. O'Hara McGilberry of Childersburg; 18 
grandchildren.
