Ashland Progress
In memory of my dear wife, Effie, who died Feb. 7. She was laid to rest in 
McDaniel Chapel cemetery near her home. She was a kind and loving wife. We loved 
her but the Savior loved her best and took her home to live with Him forevermore. 
We have parted from her to meet on earth no more, but we hope to meet her on 
Heaven's Golden Shore. Funeral was conducted by Mr. W. B. Nolen and Rev. H. T. 
Tapley, and I wish to thank each and every one for their support and comfort 
during that sad hour. Also for the beautiful floral offering. May God's richest 
blessings rest upon you.
