Our Mountain Home
Funeral services for Mrs. Sally P. Campbell, 84, were held Monday afternoon at 
the Church of Christ at Campbell's Crossroads in Clay County. Mrs. Campbell, who 
was the widow of Dr. W. A. Campbell, prominent Clay County physician, and the 
mother of W. P. Campbell of Talladega, died at her home Sunday morning. Rev. 
Frank Camp of Munford conducted the funeral, assisted by Judge Frank Ingram of 
Ashland. She is survived by Three sons, W. P. of Talladega, J.M. of Fairfax, and 
R.C. Campbell of Pyriton, and four daughters, Mrs. A. B. Tate of Ashland, Mrs. 
J.D. Pruett of Ashland, Mrs. W. T. Williams of Pyriton and Mrs. R. E. Williams of 
Dadeville. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Ernest Campbell, Howard Williams, 
Staton Tate, Marion Campbell, Jay Steed and Bill Williams.
