Campbell 54, Jacksonville died yesterday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ed Johnson, in Jacksonville after a brief illness. Final rites were held this morning at 11 o'clock from West Side Baptist Church. The Rev. Fred Silbert and the Rev. Durro Wood officiated. Burial in the Campbell Springs Church of Christ Cemetery in Clay County was directed by Johnston Funeral Home of Jacksonville. Mrs. Campbell was a native of Clay County and had lived In Jacksonville for about a year. She is survived by her husband of Jacksonville; two daughters, Mrs. Johnson, and Mrs. Taft Buchannon. Alexander City; a son, Charles R. Campbell, Pyriton; three brothers. Turner, Nathan and Woodrow Bannister, all of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Newt Douglas, Forney, Texas, and Mrs. Fletcher Miller, Dallas, Texas; and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers were: Leonard Buchannon. Hues Erwin, Oscar Daniel, John Duncan, Bobby Duncan and Clifford Smith.
