She joined the Baptist church in 1917 and was a faithful member until her death. She was a quiet, obedient girl, always having a kind word for all with whom she come in contact. To know Eunice was to love her. We could not understand why God saw fit to take her away. She was so good, and we loved her so much. But we know that He is all-wise and is always gathering the best for His own. Before she died, she called the family to her bed and told them she hated to leave them but was going on to be with her mamma who had gone on the week before. So, father, brothers and sisters, in this dark hour of trouble, look up and thank God that his life is not all. Remember that she sings sweeter songs and knows a deeper in that bright and sweet forever. Her beautiful life was one that could be followed by her friends. As we think of her, we feel sad to think that we will never see her again, but it is sweet thought to think we can meet her again where sad parting never come. After he beautiful words her pastor her remains were laid to rest in McDaniel's Chapel Cemetery. We loved you Eunice. We loved you But Jesus loved you more, And He has sweetly called you To yonder shining shore. By Friends. Julian Joiner and Geneva Miller.
