Lineville Headlight
Sim Carlisle, a negro about 25 years of age, was killed Saturday night by the 
east bound A. B. & A. passenger train. He was in act of boarding the train for 
Roanoke when he missed the steps, his body being drawn under the train and 
horribly mangled. After the accident the train was stopped and members of the 
crew came back and Ajewed the body, but the negro was then dead.
