Mrs. Annie Hicks Carpenter a resides of 2101 Federal Dr., died Monday after an 
extended illness. Funeral was from Concord Baptist Church in Ashland Wednesday at 
11 am. with the Rev. Leon Allen, the Rev. Billy Allen, the Rev. Bobby Allen and 
the Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery with White 
Chapel directing. Pallbearers will be Stanley Thrower, Elliott Parsons, Kirby Ash 
craft, David Mansfield, Sam Bone and Red Duncan.
