Roy Carpenter and the Rev. Zackie Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery in Clay County. Mrs. Carpenter died Sunday at Mary Brandon Nursing Home after a long illness. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Hot tense Andrews of Bettendorf, Iowa; three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Smith of Huntington Park, Mrs. Inez Johnson of Anniston and Mrs. Ann Averill of Winter Haven, Fla. five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be T. Andrews, Ray Canant, Jimmy Carpenter, Ed Collins, Ken White and Phillip White. Mrs. Carpenter was a native of Clay County and had lived in Calhoun County most of her life. She was a member of Ruhama Baptist Church.
