Anniston Star
Gay L. Carr, 56, of Anniston, Rt. 5, died at his residence Monday after a long 
illness. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3pm at the Bethel Baptist Church 
with the Rev. Artis Jones and the Rev. L. D. Dempsey officiating. Burial will be 
in the adjoining cemetery with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge. Survivors 
include a sister-in-law, Mrs. Julie Carr of Anniston and several nieces and 
nephews.
