Anniston Star
Palmer Carter 46, of Lineville, died Sunday at his residence. Services were 
scheduled for today at 2 pm. at Blair Brown-Service Mortuary with the Rev. K. V. 
McDonald officiating. Burial was to be in Clay County Memory Gardens. Survivors 
include his wife, Mrs. Johnnie Carter; a daughter, Miss Debra Carter of 
Lineville; two sons, Bob Carter and Carlton, both of Lineville; his father, Mike 
Carter of Lineville; six sisters, Mrs. Lajune Mitchell and Mrs. Mary Charles, 
both of Mobile, Mrs. Lorene Perry of Cragford, Mrs. Louise Moore and Mrs. Judy 
Hill and Mrs. Betty Smith, all of Lineville, and a brother, Walter Carter of 
Troy.
