O. C. Nichols and Rev Ruben Birchfield. Blair directed Interment was in adjoining cemetery. Pallbearers were Lon Sides, Oke Canterbury, John Baker, Jesse Mitchell, James Vinson, Benny Cummings. Mrs. Carter was sixty- nine years of age. She passed away at her home at Cragford on Wednesday, Aug. 19th, after a long illness. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Mack Carter. Three sons, John Robert Carter, Price Carter, Orrin Carter; four daughters, Mrs. J. H. Bailey, Roanoke; Mrs. L. W. Canterbury, Bowling Green, Mrs. A. W. Sides, Decatur, Mrs. J.E. Baker, Nashville, three sisters, Mrs. Leola Bradford, Roanoke; Joyce Grizzle, Hubbard, Texas; Mrs. J. D. Perry, Wichita Falls, Texas; two brothers, J. Teakell, Catomille, Texas; Doc Teakell, Hubbard, Texas; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
