Her remains were interred at the family cemetery on Tuesday, September 3rd, Rev. Keeble conducting the funeral services at the grave. She was well known through the Hatchet creek and Brownville communities as a mother devoted to home and its surroundings. She is survived by eight children: Sam; Chandler, of Hollins, Ala., Mrs. Storey Darby, of Hollis, Okla., Tom Chandler, of Hollins, Ala., Isaac, Doss and George Chandler and Mrs. Archie Bell, of Brownville, and Mrs. William R. Thompson, of Alpine. Her husband, T. B. Chandler, well-known throughout Clay County, proceeded her to the grave several years ago.
